Will Huckaby

Freshman Will Huckaby had a monstrous game against the Dietrich JV team to earn himself athlete of the week and his team a victory. Will had an impressive twenty-eight points. Will was also fundamental, crashing the boards to collect six rebounds. He also looked for his teammates up the floor, adding four assists. 

This athlete was voted on by thirty-four students and won by a margin of eight votes.

Damian Nuno

Damian Nuno in a JV game against the Garden Valley Wolverines had some impressive stats in an impressive win. He went for 160 yards on the ground totaling in two rushing touchdowns. All while showing out in defence adding 10 tackles to hold the Wolverines at key points in the game.

This athlete was voted on by thirty-three students and won by a margin of four votes.

Ceder Saxton

In a home match against Vision Charter, Ceder Saxton had some impressive stats. She went 16/18 from service, had four attacks, and five digs to ice the game for the Ramblers securing the win 3-0. 

This athlete was voted on by thirty-five students and won by a margin of nineteen votes.

Claire Pierce

In a home match against Salmon River in which Cascade swept the competition 3-0, Claire Pierce had an impressive eleven successful serves, three kills, two digs, and one block.

This athlete was voted on by forty-one students and won by a margin of four votes.

Kielee Mack

In a hard fought loss to the Garden Valley Wolverines, had an impressive perfect serve record. Kielee also had two kills, six digs, and five assists to keep her team competitive in each of the three sets.

This athlete was voted on by fifty-seven students and won by a margin of three votes.

Tyler Thurston

Athlete of the Week 9/11-9/17 Tyler Thurston went for an impressive 15/26 Passing for 175 passing yards, totaling in 3 passing TD and 1 passing PAT, while only throwing 1 toss up interception. He had 9 rushing yards for 1 rushing TD and 1 rushing PAT. All while showing up on defence with 3 tackles and 1 assist in a 46-80 loss to Tri-Valley. 

Cascade Ramblers @ Tri-Valley Titans

On Friday, September 15, the Ramblers battled through their pain against the Tri Valley Titans.  Friday night, under the lights, four starters had reported injuries and the Ramblers win/loss record dropped to 3 and 1. Stuart Derrick rushed for 214 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Tyler Thurston threw 15 for 26 with 175 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and one rushing. Cole Olson had 7 receptions and 105 yards with Grant Whipple adding to the score column as well. The Ramblers have rescheduled the game next week against Garden Valley to October 11th and their next game will be against the Salmon River Savages on Friday, September 29th for Senior Night. 

2 are out with Bruised Rib Cages, 1 out on Concussion Protocol, and 1 out with a Pulled Groin

#7 Stuart Derrick- 4 receptions for 30 yards, 25 carries for 214 yds resulting in 1 td and 1 PAT, 6 tackles and 1 INT

#10 Tyler Thurston- 15/26 passing for 175 passing yards, 3 passing TD’s, 3 passing PAT’s, 1 rushing TD for 7 yards, 2 yds rushing for PAT, 3 Tackles

#3 Cole Olson- 7 receptions for 105 yards and 1 td

#21 Grant Whipple- 3 receptions for 42 yds resulting in 1 td and 1 pat, 4 carries for 16 yds

Cole Olson

In a hard-fought homecoming victory against Lewis County (28-24) on September 8, Cole Olson went for an impressive 108 receiving yards, totaling two PAT conversions and one TD reception, while holding his own on the defensive side of the ball. Racking up an impressive seven tackles, one fumble recovery, and three clutch sacks, Cole helped to keep the Eagles out of the endzone in the last seconds of the game. Congratulations to Cole Olson on winning Athlete of the Week!

In a game against Weippe on September 1,  Stuart Derrick went for an impressive 143 yards through 15 carries, and 3 receptions for 27 yards, totaling in 5 touchdowns and 2 PAT's. He didn't only impress on the offensive side of the ball,  he also shined on defence coming down with 7 tackles. Congratulations to Stuart Derrick on winning Athlete of the Week!
